OUR REVIEWS
1 - CANNONDALE SUPERSIX EVO NEO 3 ELECTRIC ROAD BIKE
Cannondale’s Supersix Evo Neo 3 Electric Road Bike is built for speed, so prepare to breeze along highways, cut through valleys and soar across the tops of hills. If you want to get from A to B quickly when you’re cycling, this is the bike for you. Constructed from BallisTec carbon, the lightweight frame ensures the drag is always low when you’re riding the Supersix Evo Neo 3.
Fitted with a Mahle ebikemotion drive system, the Supersix Evo Neo 3 uses a lightweight 250W rear hub motor, as well as a hidden 250kW battery. Riders can choose from three levels of support, with each one designed to enhance your road performance.
Although the Mahle ebikemotion drive system undoubtedly gives you the boost you need, don’t expect it to do the work for you.
On its lowest level, the 250W motor is practically imperceptible, so you’ll still be able to grit your teeth as you work to increase your speed and further your distance. Even on its highest setting, the Evo Neo 3 isn’t designed to make road riding easy.
If you want an electric bike that will provide all the power you need to complete your route or an e-cycle that will facilitate a leisurely tour of your local town, this probably isn’t the right choice for you.
However, if you’re looking for a lightweight, versatile road bike that will give you a burst of extra power when you need it most, you can’t go wrong with the Cannondale Supersix Evo Neo 3 Electric Road Bike.
When it comes to design, Cannondale has always been known for innovation. As well as using lightweight materials, the Evo Neo 3 frame is built using airfoil tube shapes, rather than traditional round tubes. Offering the same weight and stiffness, the switch to airfoil tubes means you’ll benefit from 30% less drag when you’re on the road.
Of course, it doesn’t stop there. The HollowGram SAVE SystemBar is an integrated system that reduces drag even further and increases comfort when you’re riding. Combined with SAVE micro-suspension, the design ensures a comfortable and smooth ride every time.
As versatile as it is fast, you can modify the Evo Neo 3 with larger-volume road tyres, if you choose too. Able to house 28mm tyres with at least 6mm clearance on all sides, you can adapt your bike to suit your style and your terrain.
The level of support offered by the Mahle ebikemotion drive system isn’t designed to overpower your ride and to switch between levels won’t have an impact either.
The carefully designed controller means you can change power levels seamlessly, without taking your eyes off the road. Furthermore, the ability to link your bike to the Cannondale app and record your information via the highly accurate wheel sensor means you can keep track of your gains.
The Cannondale Supersix Evo Neo 3 isn’t the cheapest e-bike on the market, but it’s undoubtedly one of the best. Built for serious road riders, the cable routing does restrict steering positions somewhat but not enough to detract from the exceptional experience the Evo Neo 3 offers.
If you want to experience true road riding with just a little extra help, try the Cannondale Supersix Evo Neo 3 today.

2 - CANNONDALE QUICK NEO SL 2 HYBRID ELECTRIC BIKE
If you’re looking for an electric bike that can cope with a variety of terrains, the Cannondale Quick Neo SL 2 Hybrid Electric Bike provides the versatility and reliability you’re after. The quick and light design is great for getting around and works well as a fitness bike, while the presence of the Mahle ebikemotion drive system gives you a little extra power to fall back on when you need it.
One of the reasons Cannondale e-bikes are so popular is because they retain the real feel of riding a bike. Too many electric cycles overpower the rider and turn cycling into a passive experience, rather than an active one.
However, you’ll have no such worries with the Quick Neo SL 2. It’s a hybrid bike in every way, so you can be sure that you’ll get that same great feeling as you zip through the city streets or coast downhill.
Of course, the addition of a 250W motor and in-frame battery doesn’t go unnoticed. When you need an extra boost of power, you’ll have three levels to choose from. The intuitive controller is situated on the crossbar, which can take a bit of getting used to.
When you’re travelling at top speed, you’ll want to ensure you’re in complete control before you take one hand off the handlebars to adjust the power.
Based on the Cannondale Quick bike design, the Neo SL 2 is simply enhanced by the battery power it offers. With a range of up to 75km/47mi, the Mahle ebikemotion battery provides enough power for short to medium rides, but the Range Extender kit will boost your capacity to a whopping 450Wh.
Perfect for fitness, fun or commuting, the Cannondale Quick Neo SL 2 is hard to beat if you’re looking for a great all-rounder hybrid bike.
The lightweight aluminium frame and 9-speed Shimano gears give you complete control over your ride, while the extra power makes cycling easier than ever.
CANNONDALE ELECTRIC BIKES
Already a significant player when it comes to hybrid and electric bikes, the latest models from Cannondale don’t disappoint. Using the same unique approach to innovation, Cannondale builds on previous designs and continue to impress by enhancing them even further. Determined to retain the classic characteristics of riding, both the Supersix Evo Neo 3 and the Quick Neo SL 2 Hybrid deliver the same excellent cycling experience – just better.
CANNONDALE BIKE BATTERY AND REPLACEMENTS
As with all electric bikes, the battery life will be dependent on how often you use the bike and the level of electric assist you rely on. However, the Mahle ebikemotion drive system claims to deliver at least 500 full charging cycles, so you won’t need to worry about replacing the battery for quite some time.
When you do need to switch to a new battery, you’ll find Cannondale’s excellent support team can provide the information you need and get you back on the road swiftly.

Cannondale doesn’t just produce high-quality bikes and e-bikes; they create a stunning range of accessories too. Whether you’re looking for helmets and jerseys, tools or cranksets and hubs, you can buy direct from Cannondale or one of their many authorised resellers.
